Lynn Wright is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Wright Intel Solutions, LLC and the main substantive consultant. Since retiring from the Navy's Senior Executive Service in late 2019, she has served as a private consultant and advisory board member for a variety of academic and national security technology firms. She is currently an advisory board member for the Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University. She was previously the CEO for Naval Intelligence Professionals, a 501(c)(3) non-profit established to advance Naval Intelligence skills and capabilities.
With over 35 years of experience in Intelligence Community organizations and operations from the national to the tactical, Ms. Wright has broad experience with traditional military operations against peer competitors, networked non-state actors and the incorporation of new commercial technologies into intelligence operations. She served as Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence in the Pentagon from 2013 to 2019, including an extended period as Acting Director of Naval Intelligence (2013–2016), as leader of the Joint Staff task force for Afghanistan/Pakistan intelligence operations, and in Kabul as the chief for all Defense Intelligence Agency operations in Afghanistan.
